I stand by my old opinion about the whole abortion debate being largely a smokescreen to keep people in a left vs. right dichotomy by using an especially incendiary issue; but I was pretty sure they were gonna come up with some reason to delay the actual Roe decision until after the election and use it as a way of getting voters back into their "lanes" for the mid-terms, I honestly didn't think they were really gonna go through with this, and do it before the election.

Are they making smartphone apps just for the sake of making smartphone apps!?
I bought a new charger yesterday because the one I had finally died (the USB-C cable does kind of work, but never seems to recharge shit), and the box shows "Please download our apps for iOS and Android".

Would the next step be that you can't use the charger at all unless you install the charger's proprietary app on it?
Imagine the consequences of that:
Once the battery runs out entirely, you'll have no other choice than to throw your smartphone away, because the charger would only work if you'd use their app, and with the exception of the ガラケー and Linux phones (the only phones worth using anyway), you can't replace the battery, so the chargers will contribute to even more e-waste, all while (of course) putting an SDGs logo on every single side and write how sustainable the charger is.

Fuck you #NewWorldOrder, fuck you #UnitedNations, fuck you #SDGs, and fuck you #smartphones.
