Some people seem to think I've done something that is "unfair". They think I'm like Microsoft. But the truth is, I'm some guy in an apartment. I'm playing on the exact same playing field as you and everyone else.

Anyone can do things that change the Fediverse, as long as they have the motivation. If you have a problem with that, you might have a problem with the design of the Fediverse itself.

If you think about it, big tech and leftist Mastodon instances are enablers of hate speech by deplatforming people for political reasons.

I mean, if you have a bias towards a specific edge of the political compass, which then makes you kick everyone else off for having differences in opinion, you're only contributing to the hate you claim to be fighting against.

Of course if you're a Jewish CEO that outright bans and/or censors the auth-right and lib-right for being pro-capitalism or a holocaust denier or something else, then of course those people will start turning their anger against the Jews and hate them to no end.

This is exactly how I got to hate alt tech and authoritarians in general too; they kept banning me wherever I went for liking and/or posting drawings, which out of touch boomers think is somehow "cheese pizza" because they can't make a distinction between literal child abuse and a harmless drawing.
And that's also why I'm so picky on which platforms or instances to join.
Preferably I'd set up my own stuff myself, but loli frog is on the same page as I am on this issue, so I'm fine using her services instead.
