After downloading a million 15 year old abandonware windows-only applications I was able to port the city scanner from HL2 to HL1 with near-zero loss in fidelity (just minor changes in the skeleton). The mesh and texture is identical to the full quality HL2 version in the vanilla HL1 engine, if you put aside that 512x512 was an optional feature reserved for cards such as the geforce2, unlike the 256x256 plebs with 3dfx cards.

Also our testing indicates #Tor is #censorable and there is active censorship in the network, especially when #trafficAnalysis may be able to identify who is using a connection.

We have tried multiple times to use #OnionShare and the connection cuts out about 1MB into the download everytime.

So its not just #exitNode related.

This means Tor is no longer able to protect #whistleblowers and #journalists in #Australia (elsewhere?).

Seems #I2P is a way forward.

Based on what I've read, this is a good estimate of the plume in a conservative worst case scenario (overestimating). This is bad, but its not end of the world bad. Its also not Chernobyl bad. You may see knock on effects in some areas downstream per water, but this isn't the supermassive disaster people are on about.

Normalize people taking time to respond.
If you're arguing with someone (inb4 you shouldn't be) about some issue, odds are it's much better they take the time to understand your position rather than have you jump down their throat to respond in minutes.
Someone sends you a video, or a long paper? Maybe it takes a busy person a week to get back to you with a real, thoughtful response.
