Dear product designers / web devs:
You should avoid hamburger menus on the mobile web 9/10 times.
1. No one implements them correctly
2. Most fail when JavaScript is disabled - leaving site navigation useless
3. A list of your navigation options works better for screen readers / keyboard movement
Just say “No” to hamburger menus.
Imagine these CBDC scenarios:
You surpassed your weekly carbon limit. Purchase denied.
You spoke up against masking children. Purchase denied.
You traveled outside of your quarantine zone. Purchase denied.
All of this would be possible because CBDCs are programmable.

- YEARS OF SCRUM and yet STILL NO USE FOUND for running something on someone else's server
- Wanted to use someone else's software anyway for a laugh? We had a tool for that, it was called "APT-GET"
- "This request will cost you 0.004 dollar per compute-second" - statements dreamed up by the utterly deranged
so (decentralized?) #bluesky rolled out an iOS app before they added a second server, right after #substack rolled out notes and media companies started talking about leaving Twitter. it exists to serve Twitter and is a delaying tactic against the #fediverse. same with #nostr.
what we're building here is a threat to all entrenched wealth and power. it will remove all unearned influence over our attention. it enables people power like the world has never seen before. they should be afraid.
