One of the worst things to come out of the political and social polarization over the past decade is that virtually everything you do or use is a political statement. Sure, it was probably always the case, but it's more apparent now.

Like if you use an (allegedly) privacy-focused email provider instead of Gmail, it gives off the idea that you subscribe to a niche or radical political ideology that justifies hiding yourself from the feds. Maybe you just simply want a private email provider, but given that those providers are often used by political dissidents and the MSM will write hit-pieces on them it does give off that vibe. It wouldn't surprise me if people had their job applications rejected because they used a Proton email address or something like that.

This is probably why many white market businesses and services like Steam stopped accepting crypto, besides the government regulations. All of the sudden, cryptocurrency became associated with ancaps and the alt-right and by using it, even for legitimate purposes, you are pandering to them.

Of course, this is probably all by design, but it gets really frustrating that living a slightly different lifestyle means that you are some political extremist that should be put on a government red-flag list.

Seriously considering doing some retroprogramming for the 2025 TempleOS tribute. It would have to be contrived. Like writing a Game Boy game and saying it counts because there's a Game Boy emulator for TempleOS.

I honestly like learning esoteric shit more than I do actually making the game part of the game lmao.

The levels are now bigger the deeper you go. It was something that I realized that I haven't implemented yet. This is the second to last level and the video demonstrates how it's bigger than usual.

@TeaTootler my number one argument is that it doesn't come preinstalled on computers that are sold in stores. Normies check email and use Facebook and play phone games. Most of them wouldn't have to deal with any of the "issues" Linux presents when moving your work or game environment.

Which has always been funny to me. If computer makers sold comps with Linux they would make a little more money from not having to buy windows for every single profit turn.

What did I do to attract so many furries on this account?

It can't be my pfp because furries are generally more attracted to realistic depictions of anthropomorphic animals. Usagi is nowhere near that level.

The climate movement’s annual showpiece, the United Nation’s Conference of Parties (COP), held this year in Baku, Azerbaijan, has been exposed to an unprecedented level of disinterest—even dissent—from developing nations.

@jensorensen I go out of my way to make sure the things I buy are dumb! Like my Air Fryer Oven is the good old fashioned analogue dails - no app and it does what I want it to! 😁

It's coincidental that last week, a Homeland Security joint subcommittee held a hearing on a bill that would renew and reform counter-UAS legal authorities and strengthen the FAA's oversight powers of drones.

God's Disdain has 296 wishlists on Steam! Wow! That's actually really incredible and much more than I thought it'd get. Can we get just 4 more to push it to 300? That would be awesome!

What's the gayest shit we can add to our game?
Idk, we can make it so the player has to bottom to complete the mission...
That's too obvious, not creative.
Hmmm, I have an idea:

I simply can't compose music. Like I can come up with simple scales and that stuff, but trying to compose something of a specific genre or to fit a certain situation is something I simply can't do. Part of that is because I always associate certain situations with songs/pieces I already know and I can never come up with anything else. Like, I always associate being underwater with the Dire Dire Docks/Jolly Roger Bay OST from Super Mario 64. It evens plays in my head when I'm underwater IRL. I can't think of anything else, even in my own games I have a copyrighted song playing in my head when visioning a certain situation.

I guess I'm stuck with using stock music or having to get someone else to compose music for my games.
