Listen up people.
The #fediverse is the most important contribution to freedom of expression since the early internet and email. Don’t argue with me.
As it matures, decentralization matters. Critical mass should not be a barrier to entry on any instance, and especially with new features like remote timelines in #soapbox (https://soapbox.pub/blog/soapbox-fe-v1.2-release/).
So here is the point:
Instance discovery needs to be a polished feature. I dont have the answer for how, so for now I’m going to start a thread to try and boost visibility for great small instances that help promote freedom of expression.
The last thing the fediverse needs is more of the same, with everyone centralizing around a few big players at the risk that censorship just shifts from Zuckerberg to whoever happens to run that instance.
The more decentralized, the better!
Please contribute if you know of any resources already doing this in other or better ways!

There comes a point, when you wander, if there is some miscommunicated truth about covid, that these people know, but are too stupid to communicate correctly.
Like seriously. I see some people (even some smart) seriously panicking, but how am I supposed to take it seriously, when it's communicated through politicians that don't understand the difference between a local and global spread...
Oh wow...
Scary article: People drop IQ after covid.
I jump immediatelly to data, just because this smells funny.
People without any simptoms dropped 0.04 standart deviation
Ok... what about with medical asistance?
0.14 standart deviation...
In short, they measured something, that would perfectly correspond with tired body. Breaking news: People with long term lung damage have a slight problem with focus ![]()
