Created solid tiles, a couple of enemies, knockback, and the sword. I also divided the screen. There will be a hud on top, but right now, it is blank.

I never understood the stigma of the word "cunt". To me it's no different than any other swear word, but to others, it is offensive as "nigger". The common response is that it's "derogatory towards women", but so is "bitch", and that word isn't considered nearly as offensive.

Also, men are called cunts too. In fact, cunt.com redirects to a Wikipedia article on a male British politician.

I will call anyone who truly pisses me off and enters my personal hall of shame a cunt, regardless of gender. Deal with it.

Excited for the possibilities of Nostr+git integration. I want nothing more than the people to be off GitHub, and for self-hosting to actually be feasible.

Keyboard version if you play a lot of DOS games, dual screen version if you like to emulate Nintendo DS games or have GameFAQs open. I like them both.

@Moon @adiz @StefanEJones @adam @amerika something along the lines of simplex chat could solve this

https://simplex.chat/

Some features:

basically you have no ID (or hash or phone number, etc) associated with you. You add people out of band.
however, you can optionally have a temporary ID to allow people to add you easily (this temp ID can be revoked or changed at any time (e.g. if you start getting spammed on it))
if A has a chat with B and A has a chat with C, then C cannot prove to B that C is chatting with A
federated approach to msg delivery (no IP leakage)
msgs are E2E and you can switch the severs you use to send msgs
Uni-directional msg queue (A sends msgs to B via server X; B sends msgs to A via server Y)

The war on agriculture is concerning. They are blaming it for so many things 🙄

"We have to remember that BRICS was originally created by Goldman Sachs. It can be argued that BRICS is nothing more than the eastern wing of the global system, perhaps controlled opposition, or at best rebellious provinces within the global system.

I do think BRICS countries are trying to become more assertive within the global system. I think they really are in conflict with the U.S. and Europe. The idea though that they are counter-globalist is something we have to wait and see.

I've always said the Duginists, the Eurasianists, are really just counter-imperialists, they're not anti-globalists, they're not anti-imperialists, they're more like counter-globalists, counter-imperialists, since they want an imperialism or globalism of their own, a globalism where they are the hegemonic force rather than the U.S. and Europe." @coolboymew Personally I hate Tik Tok alone for destroying the classic video format for these stupid shorts that now permeate and ruined other video hosting platforms and the root of the issue is because the broccoli heads with ADHD can't be assed to spend more than 30 seconds watching a video.

Cleaned up all of the current things possible to clean up on the To Do List already, meaning one of two tasks for February is already complete!

This included finishing up the credits scene and adding a mechanic for learning about your current karmic standing. An interesting event will occur if you have the right item!

Nostr has the flexibility to do it both ways because of data portability. ActivityPub doesn't have this. Bluesky probably doesn't have this. But it's a major reason Nostr will win.

@1bc70a0148b3f316da33fe3c89f23e3e71ac4ff998027ec712b905cd24f6a411 @3bf0c63fcb93463407af97a5e5ee64fa883d107ef9e558472c4eb9aaaefa459d Mastodon has a pure anarchist philosophy when it comes to decentralization. They think your server should have zero reliance on anything else. Bluesky takes the opposite approach, more like an authoritarian socialist one, where there is an high level of reliance on the official Communist party servers, but the whole stack is made up of user-interchangeable microservices. So for example, as a user you could run a custom timeline algorithm service and other users could point to it. It's basically the Twitter microservices topology but users can set the URLs to each piece. Importantly, identity is centralized on Bluesky's BGS.

Nostr does not take a pure anarchist approach to servers, but it does take a pure anarchist approach to clients. That's how it's different. Although in reality, with many clients relying on services such as nostr.build, and there being many singleton services like Primal or nsecBunker or whatever without the clear message to "host your own" as the main way of doing it, Nostr is a big mixture of everything.
