Regarding the , did anyone ever make the link with the anagram "EU Omnia"? (Omnia being latin for all or everything) Essentially meaning that this everywhere or wants to capture all?

( Its hard not to say that the EU wants to be an all encapsulating totalitarian state. )

I've been in love with Manjaro for 2 years now. No argument managed to sway me to move away... but now... this picture... makes me reconsider...

Now Warhammer is becoming more activistic and shitting on their fans I've been thinking about creating my own universe, my own game, with a ruleset and publish it all online. Lore, rules, models... The entire shebang as a competitor.

While watching I saw Faye Valentine in a spaceship crashing towards some planet and she mutters: " To the lucky pervert who finds my body. "

Bitch, you aren't even attractive alive, why would you think the person finding you would be attracted to her generic mangled corpse?

I should expand on this a bit.

Who ever plays Spike is close to retirement age and the character should have been casted a younger actor. I am going to assume it's a western storytelling thing in which they write and cast old and believable characters that are able to do the job in which you end up with some 30 something guy in action flicks. In Eastern storytelling it centers around some 15 year old kid that is young and inexperienced that will learn and grow into the thing he needs to do. In thehe anime dude was in his mid-twenties, which is a believable age.

Jet Black, I don't mind the race-swapping in this case. What bothers me more is how cartoonish and fake he looks. The beard is a nice throwback to the original, but don't make it all look like plastic. Als, grow a spine.

Faye Valentine, what have they done to my girl? The character is lacking her sexy feminine esthetic along with her smart prowess. Instead we have some generic and cocky Hollywood dime of a dozen socialite.

Then the setting. For some weird and messy whatever genre, everything is rather clean. Yes some clothes look worn, but it still seems intact and really clean. You would expect random props in interior shots and a dirty world on the outside. And both look really clean, minimalist, but really boring. Like no trash, no objects that tells you it has been lived in nor in or outside.

The fighting scenes are boring or terribly choreographed. Maybe it's the movie I watched the evening before, or Banshee the series, but what I see here is slow, predictable and boring in comparison and it looks like a simple fight, I wish to see combat.

There is more, but that's for another time.

I am watching Cowboy Bebop live-action adaptation on Netflix, regarding the jokes...

In season 3 the character Kurt Bunker gets introduced. He has a troubled path and he wears it on his skin, but I get the feeling he is going to play an important role in future episodes. I am curious what this flawed but ultimately interesting character is going to do in the future.

Show thread

I've started watching . The first two seasons can be summarized as: Drink! Fight! Fuck! The story is pulp and it just action for action's sake. Fucking for the imagery (and it makes me moist AF, holyshit its hot). Its all fun and games and its an enjoyable little show if you don't want anything complex.

And then season 3 hits. Shit gets really dark and the cinematographic really ramps up the psychological aspect of it all and it does this really well. The darker undertones become really visible and it does this really well.

I haven't finished season 3 yet, but I am looking forward to watching the remainder of this season.

And with sustained sleep deprivation the world seems pretty bleak.

Remember a while back when Gab Dissenter got released? Via a browser plugin users would able to comment and discus websites and articles that wouldn't otherwise be possible because the comment section would be turned off or there was no comment section to speak off. This allowed users to discuss sites and articles outside the control of its operators. And this worked, it worked really great even. There was a move to decentralize commenting on the Internet and for a time it worked, and it was great!

However, the biggest flaw in this initiative was Gab. I am not a fan of the average content, so by extent its users and finally the comments and the discourse that followed from it. While I don't have a hate-boner for Torba and Gab, the mainstream media and the apparatchiks did. So pretty swift the plugin got wiped from Mozilla and Chrome stores and I haven't seen anything from them ever since.

Even back then I wanted an OpenSource solution that allowed for a self-hosted instance, possibly even federated. I didn't forget about it, nor did I actively pursue it, but it was somewhere living rent free in the back of my head. It was recently it came back to mind after the whole shitty polarized situation we are currently in and sites were doing their best to please their corporate overlords by censoring the fuck out of people.

So this is what I want to do is the following; Name the suite "Echos" or something. You install the Echo browser plugin. You point this to one or multiple server instances. These server instances are software called/running "echo-chambers" in which you leave your comments. So the whole thing is about leaving your echos on a page are a website.

But this is something I will start in the new year, because for the remainder of this year I will be studying for an exam.

What do you guys think?

:flanshout: **IMPORTANT MESSAGE!**

You are cute! :bunhdheart:

Last day of sub-normal pub opening times. Been drinking since 15:00ish. Running on fumes after my night granted me 4 hours of sleep. Life is great, no matter how much the NL government tries to fuck me over.
