I try not to read the news anymore, or look at politics, or whatever.

But even when I'm trying not to look at that stuff, it finds its way of inserting itself into my daily life.

It's fucking irritating as fuck.

There's a political party here which is basically an open fifth-column, and part of their campaign strategy (apparently) is to tag diverse areas (their home-turf, as it were) with their "vote for our party" graffiti.

Simultaneously, of course, they're saying that they'll "clean up" the cities...

Then again, with the West supporting them in the media war, and with the West basically blocking any news considered “pro-Russian”, I doubt anyone will be reporting on this...

Ukraine is using the exact same tactics as the Syrian opposition, i.e. placing military equipment between or right next to civilian structures, then allowing counter-battery fire to rain down on the location, and then saying it was an “indiscriminate attack”.

The cringe thing is that they have a conventional army, rather than a ragtag group of militia, so these tactics make them look worse...

I've been kinda categorizing all the diverse adverts I see, and one thing I've noticed is a switch from hetero mixed-race relationships to gay mixed-race relationshpis, often with non-Europeans (i.e. African + Asian, etc...).

Obv it doesn't really change the absurdity of it all, and it's not like the other standard diverse adverts don't exist, but I found it interesting...

...Either that, or my smart phone/iPad is logging all the times I call stuff "gay" and then using that to give me gay adverts...Which.....Isn't too far off, now that I think about it...

I guess one is cringe based on stupidity and being easily led sheep, the other is cringe based on obvious disingenuousness and cynical, dare I say sociopathic behavior.
