@furgar
This graph should start at 13.

I cannot believe you made it so incompetently.

@czar@society.kalli.st @kroner
True, battle pass is usually possible to calculate.

@NEETzsche @ChristiJunior
Yeah, that long time horizon thinking is literally what seperates right wing and left wing people.

Except, I am afraid, that most religious people don't think about the future of this world as much as future of their own life in heaven.

@ChristiJunior @NEETzsche
I refuse to accept the pre-supposition that atheism makes you accepting of degeneracy.

Modern christianity is almost defined by the meekness and letting others do all the sin they want, as long as there is a chance, they might come to a church once after 20 years.

Sorry for being so agresive on this point, but seriously, I am tired of hearing how atheism makes me a degenerate.

@ChristiJunior @NEETzsche
It's not a direct adaptation, but we see it all anyway.

But yeah, Czech republic is almost scarry levels of immune compared to other countries. And I have no idea if it's the atheism, beer culture, or something else I'm missing.

@NEETzsche @ChristiJunior
People all over the world watch US propaganda.

I don't think you understand just how huge of an influence US holds over global culture and economy.

I'm not really a fan of either mechanism tho, I prefer single player games without battle passes or loot boxes :shrugge:

All online multiplayer games feel sameish to me

>yoooo fr check out our new #Season69 tho no 🧢 bussin'
>if you pay us 10$/month you can become a slave to your keyboard to get shiny pixels to put on your character 😳
>here's this skin that everyone wants for character X and you have Y% chance of getting it from lootbox 420, hope you have your mom's credit card

It's all so tiresome

@kroner
Yes, and that makes me so sad about it.

Payed battle pass has exclusive items, that a free player will never get, and payed one only if he turns to a prisoner of his own keyboard.

But a F2P player gets (usually) loot boxes proportional to how much he plays anyway, and sometimes, get rewarded with the cool stuff too.

@Alex @alyx
When I was playing galaxy of heroes, I had fun playing for 20 min a day.

But unlocking a Phantom II in War Thunder was the most painful grind session in my life. (although, that wasn't exactly a battle pass, but a week long equivalent)

@Alex @alyx
Well, that is exactly what I hate.
Loot boxes give you rewards even without making that game your 3rd job.

You will get a good shit eventually. While battle pass rewards you only if you start worshiping the game.

@beardalaxy @KonataWagner1066
I strongly preffer the stat check in conversation, because they are context dependant, and make your character feel unique in what he can actually do.

On the other hand, these minigames usually take 3-20 minutes to get a grip of, and then, the entire game is out of balance from there on.

I still remember the Oblivion lockpicking as a good example, where after a few locks, I could unlock EVERYTHING without breaking a single pick even with a shitty skill level, because the "slow push" animation that happened in about 1/4 cases was good slow enough for me to hit with serious accuracy.

Did I say I love New Vegas today? Because I love New Vegas.
