Forget Assassins creed. The new Justice league is absolutely the best example I could ask for.

The city looks amazing. Graphics? I guess good. Every asset developed in house, yet not even corporate shills can recommend it. Because it just doesn't give you the happies even for a few hours.

BTW, there were recently many videos made of "game scams" or "fake games" talking about games quickly made in Epic games asset srtore, where the main argument always is, that the games aren't "real" because they are barebones, or just aren't what the trailer would imply.

But, I feel quite uncomfortable with this kind of thinking. And I think, that Pal world ironically enough hit the exacr inflection point between an asset swap and AAA game, where I can kinda see both sides of the argument.

The game is fun. I do not believe, it will be a 40 or 400 hours fun, but the base mechanics are entertaining enough, to give you a unique experience. So, by one definition, it absolutely is a game.

But, the true question is, is the money invested by players to the game will be used to develop it further. Because, while I am happy with a short experience kind of games, (Roark's Attack on Titan Fan Game being a great example), I can see why this would feel like a scam to others.

So, I believe, that we are in fact missing a kind of vocabulary needed to describe a depth of a game. Because, the depth can no longer be recognized by a single glance.

Excuse my rant. I am just not sure what to think about this topic myself TBH. Expecially, since I still am having more fun, then I would have playing for instance new Assassins creed. A game, that although, it is supposed to have all the depth in the world, considering it's budget... It feels still more shallow then this one.

Don't be angry for it, since it's a compatibility issue. If that woman is still playing games, she would drive you to insanity anyway in many other ways.

That is what I'm saying. This is just the most obvious symptom, but the disease is much deaper and dangerious.

My favorite example is this:

I found out, that this can happen, if she finds out, that the "collective" she consulted with disapproves of you. Well, GOOD. Because it did happen early. But can you immagine, if she bend to the collective after you got married? That would be so much worse.

The important part is, that you found out the problem early. Ignoring it, or even trying to push through will only hurt you.

BTW, lately, I have been going to cons, and I realized, that my absolutely favorite sentence to hear is "my pronouns are....."

Because, it makes meeting people SO MUCH EASIER, when they tell you, that they're insane in the very first interaction.

Filtering is a hard process. Be greatful when the 10s make it easy.

That is exactly my point. They are not just like that, and believing so lead me to endless doomerism. And even being in a proximity to these women IS in fact deadly. Unironically. I got acused of shit just because I was in proximity of one for a single day.

But there truly are some women out there, who are not suffering from the california mindset. But finding them is a truly deep issue. I wish I had an anwser to that question, but I know my solution won't work for everyone.

Don't forget, that these are American women.

At some point, you have to just cut the bullshit, and make a line of "these women are just playing games" and discard them.

I have reached a point of "fuck it" several years ago, when I asked a co-worker, why she always keeps on repeating how stupid she is, and she said: Men love it, when women is dumb.

You cannot fix them. You just have to find the very few, who are not playing.
