Starfleet is the government. That means logistics, military, police, diplomats and rescue missions. But in the shows, we see almost no life outside of the fleet, and the little we do see is a normal capitalist society.

The virgin Western sequel where they arbitrarily make beloved characters as miserable as possible vs. the chad Japanese sequel where they make beloved characters even bigger badasses.

So, in Breath of the wild, I dress as a woman, so I can compete in a women's sport and steal the 1st place? :Thinker:

This game was truly ahead of its time

@zoomgoboom @ChristiJunior
All i have to say that is, that Detective Pikachu confirmed, that Ditto can turn into a woman.

And it's cannot that humans are essentially pokemon.

And that... you get it.

Well, while I am still playing BOTW, you guys have to choose

Who is better waifu?

@PurpCat @dave
Yeah, I knnow.
I am doing literally all I can to avoid greedy doctors.

@PurpCat @dave
BTW, I don't think it's autism genocide either.

I think it's a few psychopaths who managed to find a way to make people dependant on their product for the rest of their life against their will.

Or in short, the exact worst case scenario of "evil capitalism", that lefties ignore completely for some reason.

@dave
I am seriously not sold on this "it's just a coincidence bruh" kind of thinking. I know an autistic girl, who considers herself to be a "man in a woman's body". But, she knows, that cutting her won body into a Lovecraftian fanfic would not help her in the slightest.

And I assume, that every doctor has to know the same. All systems have human element involved (including law) exactly to avoid the common programming error of "I wrote wrong assumptions, but let's cut this kid to pieces anyway".

The scariest thought I had was, what if some people consider high intelligence to be a civilization level thread?

I obviously don't mean it in the usual "smart people are harder to control" but in a much more sinister way. Because it was intelligence and education that brought us the A-bomb. And now, it brought us CRISPR. So, it wouldn't be entirely irrational to be afraid of smart people having access to an education good enough, to be dangerous.

Because just with a bit of electronics, programming and chemistry knowledge, there is no reason to not assume backyards ballistic rockets.
