Avowed
>doesn't have a physics engine (worse than Oblivion!)
yeah, so?
>doesn't have persistent shot arrows
that stuff's not free, man
>doesn't have NPCs reacting to your criminality (worse than Daggerfall, worse than ancient CRPGs)
the options are
a. instantly end the game
b. permanently make you an enemy of the land with no gameplay other than genocide
c. have some very unsatisfying jail gameplay
d. actually do some work to make something interesting
not every game can be Gothic, OK?
>doesn't have NPCs talking to each other (worse than Oblivion)
it was a very superficial feature in Oblivion, just a bit of atmosphere. Of course it'd be nice if things got better rather than worse, but Bethesda also didn't keep this up.
>doesn't have NPC scripts (worse than ancient CRPGs and even RPGMaker games with a day/night cycle)
ok getting lame
>doesn't let you pick locks to enter every dwelling you see
the cost of that is unrealistically small spaces, like the first city in Skyrim that is less populated than any human habitation since agriculture
>every NPC you talk to is coincidentally female
>has pronouns
>has 'they' pronouns
>doesn't have fan service
>Matt Hansen hates you
1/3 of the character types is "archer" but you don't have ammo? What are you doing, casting 'arrow'?
even negative reviews praise the combat and, man, I just don't believe you.
