@alyx bentai
@applejack haha I'm not that advanced, if I make a website it'll look pretty simple to begin with
@matrix pretty fucking cool! i'm still hoping that the native switch vita port thing gets some good updates soon.
@LukeAlmighty it looks pretty fun to me. i'm definitely waiting for reviews and stuff before i buy it, but i was gonna' play it with some friends if it was actually good.
@rav3ndust i get that a lot haha! just a few weeks ago a guy was telling me my voice sounded very punky, then i started playing green day and he was validated xD thanks :)
i'm making a game too! you'll have to keep me updated on your progress :) i'd like to hear some tracks from it when they're ready!
here's the soundtrack i made for my game, the thing is still in development but the music is totally done: https://prescottofficial.bandcamp.com/album/gods-disdain-ost
@MoeBritannica that's when you start asking it math questions about the holocaust ![]()
@julian398a i imagine midna was an awakening for many people
@rav3ndust and on the complete and total opposite side of the spectrum i've got a vocal cover of guilty of being white xD
@rav3ndust sounds pretty good! i can definitely tell it was made with a MIDI tracker instead of a traditional DAW haha :) i'm not sure how well that kind of style would work with a vocal track, but my music is typically somewhat similar.
just to be fair, feel free to roast me xD
@LukeAlmighty this is part of the reason why i don't have a huge focus on producing music. it's much more on performing and i can guarantee you that i have made more money than most other indie artists where i live because of that. i'm out here making $1000+/month for the past 7 years while you have guys only playing as couple shows a month max, where not many people show up, then spending a lot of money on studio time to make music not a lot of people will listen to.
@LukeAlmighty it's somewhat similar to what musicians go through with their payment. they hardly get any money from their actual music sales, it's mostly from merchandise and especially concert tickets. they don't get paid to make music, they get paid to perform.
in a similar vein, voice actors don't get paid a whole lot of money to just sit in a studio for a handful of hours, they get paid a whole lot of money when they are going to a lot of jobs all the time, taking as many gigs as they can, and becoming popular because of that so they can go to conventions and get more money and more fans.
it's a much different world from hollywood or TV, but people EXPECT it to be like hollywood or TV when that's just not the case.
