i actually did that on a monitor my friend gave me that had a big scratch on the bottom and it worked pretty well, you don't notice it at all unless you're on a solid color background.

@LittleTom @fleur oh yeah for sure. There's a lot of fucked up stuff going on but you can't do anything about it otherwise you're a criminal. Literally, in some cases.

@nihil utah is basically Alaska but more normal weather and Mormons instead of protestants. I've thought about moving to Alaska eventually though too lol.

@fleur I think you can be born with a certain proclivity toward a sexual deviance, perhaps based on varying amounts of certain chemicals in your brain for example, or genetic mental disorders, but I do think the majority of it is learned. No child pops out being gay. They may just be more likely to enjoy that sort of thing because their daddy didn't give them enough testosterone or some shit.

Using myself as an example, I have cyclothymia (mini bipolar) and part of that is hypersexuality. Mood stabilizers just made me depressed so that lowered some of my inhibitions. I think the best thing my parents could have done was realized it from an early age, because back then I definitely had problems that weren't addressed, and gotten me therapy for it. Instead I had to therapy myself which was a shitty process with a lot of fuck ups.

I'd like to see a change in focus regarding that kind of stuff, because it's seen as super duper taboo to do anything about it on both sides of the coin: don't try and tell your kid they aren't gay or trans because that's child abuse, as well as don't get them any help because you don't want to admit to yourself and your neighbors that your kid is a little fucked up.
