@LukeAlmighty i'm usually in the latter category lol, when a prompt comes up i'll usually click "remind me later" and postpone it for a long time lol. i know stuff can break pretty easily and i also just don't really care enough xD notepad++, mpc-hc, OBS studio, dolphin, and probably plenty of other things are so many versions behind on my PC lol.
there are some things i update right away though, like VPN for instance, or games. then there's stuff that just updates pretty much automatically like steam or discord, don't have to worry about those.
@matrix this is why russia will likely never directly attack the US, and the US will never directly attack russia for similar reasons (the climate). it'll all just be gay ops or robots.
@keisuke people can get addicted to literally anything. porn addiction is only an addiction if it causes disruption in your life. if watching porn every now and then is just something you enjoy doing and you're not like, fucking over your health because you jack off too much or it takes over other things in priority such as going to work or seeing friends/family, then it isn't an addiction. same thing goes for video games, or watching movies, or youtube, or whatever. even WORK can be addictive to the point of harm for people.
as far as if it is ethical or not, that's a weird debate because I'm sure there is a lot of porn that certainly isn't, specifically ones that are made by studios. amateur porn is a lot less likely to be unethical, because it's not like they have producers and directors telling them to do certain things for certain shots and only paying them X amount of money if they'll do X thing, etc. amateurs get to do whatever they want to do on their terms.
but this is why hentai is superior to pornography in every way. there is rarely a question on whether it is ethical or not, and in the case it is unethical, then it probably isn't as bad as a dude like borderline breaking his cock to get the right shot.
@BlinkRape @LukeAlmighty i like concerts because everyone is there to watch a band they like, sing along to the music, and perhaps mosh a little bit. a rave or going to a club is different though, like so many people are there just to get fucked up and everyone dresses like a whore. the culture is just retarded. music festivals get into this territory too, and that's one reason i liked warped tour so much because it was a lot more focused and just a one-day thing rather than some massive 3-day extravaganza where at least 70% of the performing acts you've never even heard of so your main reason for going there is really just to "have a good time," i.e. drink way too much and tell people how cool it was that you threw up all over the place on the car ride home or something.
going to a bar without a show going on (or maybe like a world cup game or something) is just paying way more money than it's worth for alcohol when you could just go to the liquor store, grab an entire bottle, and go home and play board games or something. idk, i just don't get it. my point is that the main factor shouldn't be the alcohol, like if you're going to a bar it should be for some other reason and you just get alcohol while you're there.
it's not like you have to be inebriated all the time to have fun. those kind of people start to get on my nerves.

I think I'm just not very cool to most people my age lol, and that's because most of them are out drinking/smoking and partying, raving, clubbing, that sort of shit.
