bros... apparently there's a rumor that rift apart/2016 remake will actually come to pc. the company that does a bunch of the playstation to pc ports posted a job listing that asked for someone who was knowledgeable with the same middleware that the games used.
rift apart was apparently listed in the geforce now leak as well, which has been pretty good with the games it listed so far.

hypomania took hold yesterday and i was awake for 24 hours. today i'm definitely feelin it, can barely stay awake and my body just hurts.

it's like people saying minecraft was their childhood. i was 16 making dick castles and thomas the tank engine smoking weed.

@MaleGoddess @RMIV that just proves the point that gun laws won't work for criminals hahahaha

i started watching vinesauce when i was 18 and it's really weird to hear people say that it was their childhood even though that was almost 10 years ago.

well i just got my first blue screen of death in like 8 years and all i was doing was watching a youtube video lol

@matana @RehnSturm256 oddly enough i didn't feel it with kirby and the forgotten land even though i 100% completed that. not with half life, portal 1 or 2, rogue legacy 2 (just games beaten in the last year or so). i didn't even feel it with the last of us and that's one of my favorite games of all time.

another game i did feel it on though was dust: an elysian tail. i 100%d it back in 2014 or 2013 i think and had that realization of how i'd never be able to play it again. well i forgot that by 2018 and bought it on switch and you know what, i still haven't beaten it there. it's just not the same as it was the first time i played it.

i've wondered what it will be like on the opposite end of the coin, from the perspective of the developer. i've been working on my game for over 7 years. i'll admit i'm a little bit anxious about what kind of feeling i'll have when it is finally done and released. will i be elated? super happy that i finally finished it and everyone can play it? or will i get depressed, knowing that such a massive part of my life for the past near-decade is now over? it's really weird to think about. i don't know what this feels like but perhaps it will be something like your first born child moving away.

of course i get recommend this video today.

when i started playing rift apart, i was in the mindset of "this is just another game i need to get off my backlog because i won't be able to even play it soon and tears of the kingdom is coming out right around the corner."

i maintained that line of thought throughout the entire game.

right until i look at the save select screen for the last time.

it hit me pretty hard and is now hitting even harder that i actually really, really enjoyed the game and even though it was only, what, 16 hours or something i felt really attached to the characters and the story.

the last time this happened was all the way back in, what... 2015? i 100% completed infamous second son and got hit with that wave of post-game depression, realizing that i had done everything there was to do and that if i ever wanted to play it again, it would never be the same. it's a pretty weird, surreal experience.

i can't imagine what it's like to play something like an MMO for a decade and then have the servers shut down. i know it'll inevitably happen to PSO2 at some point. don't wanna' think about that and i've only played for 4 years.

I have this recurring dream where I used to have a casket with the remains of my great grandma in it but the body inside mysteriously went missing.

Well I actually have to figure out how to get ReVanced working now because Vanced is out of date that YouTube doesn't play videos anymore.
