@Coyote @flux_the_cat i mean, the veggies sometimes include like, 3 pieces of corn lol.

Oh I forgot to mention, there are only TWO character voices you can choose from. One is a vaguely Asian dude and the other is an obviously black woman. The former can fit most male characters but the latter doesn't fit unless you have created a black female. This is an area where AI voices would legitimately be super useful. Pay male and female actors to record lines, then let users upload their own voices to match whichever one they prefer. There's a lot of (pointless, shitty) dialogue in the game so they probably didn't want to record literally everything more than twice.

And oh yeah, said black female accompanies you in your car at all times and says all that queer writer shit. "Whoa, did you really just drift right there? That was crazy!" That's why I turned off the dialogue. I don't need some chick yelling in my ear that I'm playing the game well.

two hours in, i'm having a decent time so far. the drifting is a little weird when compared to other games that do it better, but it's better than most games in the NFS series.

the dialogue and soundtrack are god awful though. i turned both of them off and have just been playing the cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack on shuffle lol.

the wacky effects honestly don't get in the way too much while racing, i barely even notice them tbh. some of the menus are hella cluttered though. simple in actual design, but a lot of noise that doesn't let your eyes focus very well. and, unfortunately, you can't search for user made wraps at all. you can only sort them by most popular/most recent/trending.

check out my need for speed unbound character he's literally just like me

@LittleTom i'd get fired if i saw people like this walking through my work place

>doing this to Rockman in his home
Well that's okay we'll start by killing all capcom USA employees and then firing them.

@Minty @AstolfoCockVore tlou2 felt like it was written and inserted into the game into the wrong order. it would have been way better (though still 100% unwarranted) if you played abby for the majority of the game and had her character build to a point where you actually did like her, and then were faced with the decision to kill joel which would make you feel so much more conflicted about it.

instead the game's message falls completely flat because the "revenge bad" story makes sure that the person who originally sought revenge wins in the end anyway, and you absolutely fucking hate her for it. one of the worst blunders of story writing i've ever seen, to be totally honest.

@Mr_NutterButter the thing that immediately jumps to my mind is anxiety or dread, in more simple terms. but those words both carry more actively negative connotations, rather than ones that might be either melancholy or somber.

i'm also reminded of "memento mori" which means "remember that you will die" but it does carry this same kind of feeling you describe. you know you're going to lose your life eventually, you may not know when or how, and you may have even accepted that you will die, but it's something you know will happen and all you can do is wait.

i'm not a big latin guy by any means, but maybe something like "memento amitto" could work.
