@icedquinn if you're thinking of what i think you're thinking of, no. someone figured out how to mod nier automata with better tools and made a whole ARG around finding a hidden part of the game that they added using those tools before telling anyone about the tools themselves. then, once the tools were fully fleshed out, they finally announced them.

that's the link to the OST but my other stuff is there too. i wrote the soundtrack in just about a month. i felt very inspired.

i had two other musicians before i did the soundtrack, but one of them was super slow in getting tracks done and bad at communicating with me, and the other one decided to not work with me after he found out i didn't support BLM shit. so i was like, fuck it, if you want something done right you do it yourself.

i think it turned out really well! i made sure to carefully select the instruments i was going to be using and position them how they would be in an actual orchestral band on a stage. some of this stuff i listen to and i'm like "okay how the fuck did i do that?"

it sometimes doesn't sound like something i even wrote, which is probably because it's been so long since i did and because i wrote all the tracks in such a short amount of time.

some of my favorite tracks are Quietly, Guardian Doe, and Castle in the Sea. stuff i can just drift away listening to. if my music can ever get in to one of those "music to sleep/study to" compilations i will consider that a success xD

@sarvo i love how melody-driven it is.

@icst @RustyCrab @lina @picandor @teratology i like the backlight because it helps readability, and the only reason i ever want RGB is so that i can set it to the one solid color i want and then leave it alone xD if i swap out the black keycaps for ones of a different color, i might want to change the color of the lighting so its nice to have that option.
