@Wisconsin_Kraut @WashedOutGundamPilot There may be interpretations that aren't agreed upon (which is true even for different sects of Christianity) and differences in translation or how it is put together but the actual content of the old testament is pretty much the same for all abrahamic religions. The NT is the Christian exclusive book.

The Talmud is separate from the Torah, which is more or less the old testament. As far as I know the Talmud (and for Muslims, the Quran) is like the NT for Christians in that it modifies or nullifies teachings in the OT based on what other prophets have said, as well as adding onto it.

I could be wrong, I'm not a crazy scholar when it comes to religion or anything, but as far as I know that's the gist of it.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @Wisconsin_Kraut i mean, the jews still believe in the old testament. they're not gonna go teaching you anything about the new testament there.
