@LukeAlmighty blizzard is shit, who would have guessed? the people who still play overwatch don't give a fuck though, they're addicted to it and nothing short of the game ceasing to exist will make them stop playing.

@Turdicus @ChristiJunior @LukeAlmighty it's a far cry from, what, 2015 when overwatch first came out? people were complaining about tracer's victory pose, so they gave her a pinup pose instead.

@Tony @ChristiJunior @LukeAlmighty @EdBoatConnoisseur i watched it and the new mortal kombat movie while on the borderline of succumbing to a seizure, was a magical experience

@GrungeQueef i tried the image gen once just to see what would happen. asked it to generate link kneeling at a cross. "that's inappropriate." fuck you.

@MK2boogaloo nvidia offers the better product by a long shot. when it comes to processors, AMD and Intel is more of a battle, but with the GPUs AMD is only still alive because they make their stuff "work" with everything. if it looks like shit though that doesn't matter to me. intel GPUs have a better place in the market for how inexpensive they are.

@bronze dammit why'd the camera man have to zoom in like that

One of my coworkers today was telling me that she doesn't like to have candles in her house because they're made with runoff from oil refineries and that you are essentially breathing in oil and it ruins your lungs. I joked with her that smoking is better for you, because she smokes lol.

I was curious though, so I looked it up. Turns out that there are multiple kinds of wax that candles are made out of, the only one being derived from oil being parrafin wax. All of mine use soy. Apparently, parrafin wax isn't all that bad for you anyway as long as you're not exposed to it burning for over 8 hours a day.

It's just really funny the things that people latch onto, like my other coworker getting freaked out that Lucky Charms uses a "cleaner" as one of its top ingredients (literally just trisodium phosphate). Or, my obese roommate trying to tell me that it's possible to get too much nutrition when I was putting spinach onto my wheat bread sandwich. I undoubtedly have things like this too, as I'm sure we all do, I just think it's funny.

@Shadowman311 looks like a normal hand to me. That's just the other side of her knuckle with some of the flesh being pushed out.

Sometimes just listening to some music in the dark and relaxing is the best thing in the world. If you haven't done it in a while, make some time for it. Lie down in bed or sit in a comfy chair, play one of your favorite albums, close your eyes, and just listen. Just drift for a bit. We all need that sometimes.

@shortstories @Insomnolant I am much more open to the idea of purgatory, a place where you are detached from God and without His spirit, and only once you properly repent (which requires action, some like to visualize it as steps you need to climb but I'm sure it could be anything) are you able to ascend into heaven. It is similar to my belief in hell as a concept, and a part of every human's existence that is required experience in order to ascend. Even Jesus had to experience something like this, despite not having sinned Himself, instead taking on all of our sins. That part to me though is why I don't think purgatory in the afterlife is as reasonable as a "hell of our own creation" on earth.

That's not exactly the same as the typical "hell" that people talk about though and I don't think it is really the idea that was originally being discussed, either. It's also, as far as I know, not canon and is at least partially an idea from Dante. So nobody can get on my case for having beliefs that aren't necessarily "conventional" if that's something they believe as well.

Most religious people of the Abrahamic variety seem to believe that unless you "know Christ" and repent of your sins on Earth, you'll be damned for all eternity. Some even think that if you don't take extra steps you'll be without God in the afterlife. I just don't think that's the case and it is a major reason why I left religion behind.

I dunno though, I don't have all the answers. At the end of the day all I can do is what I think is right and continue to pursue that to the best of my ability.

@shortstories @Insomnolant then Jesus comes around and saves a literal whore from being stoned, criticizing those who were attacking her. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." I hope you understand what I mean without me having to spell it out in exhaustive terms lol. God's Grace is for everyone.
