@ins0mniak @ChristiJunior the latest silent hill short game has a massive content warning that takes up the entire screen like 5 times throughout the game and it's only 1-2 hours. Silent Hill's quick content warning when you booted up the game used to be there to add to the atmosphere, like you were playing something that isn't for the faint of heart... But now content warnings just tell me that the company producing the game is retarded and assumes all of their players are as well.

@xianc78 @helldiverliberator i think people were just happy to be playing games. it was a much, much smaller industry back then. now, with how monolithic it is, there are so many more people with much louder voices and that's also thanks to the internet.

@pepsi_man @Shadowman311 Will Smith and Run DMC were pretty damn cool. Modern rap doesn't have anyone really doing anything like that. It's either gangster shit (most black rap), depressive shit (most white rap), or just incomprehensible (most rap in general).

When it comes to rap, most of the good stuff today is hip-hop fusion with other genres like nu-metal, soul, or even pop.
