@Aldo2 who said i give a fuck about being "worth anything" lmao
and there are plenty of lolicons who are "worth anything" who aren't on there who don't like it much either. there are a fuck ton of artists who don't go there and just have there stuff reposted there. i don't like the culture of that place at all.
@Aldo2 because map flags are tied to propaganda faggot identity politics shit and i've never seen someone using one that i would actually enjoy the company of. it's not just the mere presence of the flag, though, there are usually other things where it's like "imagine if this was a real kid" that tie it into real-life territory that i find in extremely bad taste. i've seen tracings/drawings of real kids with that kind of shit on it too and that's actually part of why we had to lock down this instance years ago. so yeah, not really too fond of people like that.
@Aldo2 that's not what i'm doing at all, you're just projecting your own attraction onto what i'm trying to say. i'm talking about the people who go into lolisho communities and shit up the place with their signal ID asking people to trade and caption art with MAP edits. i'm talking about the people who go in there and advocate for abusing kids. it's social engineering shit and people have to stand up to it. it's a lot like the lgbt community ending up where it is now with the general sentiment seeming to be that it is totally fine for kids to transition (puberty blockers et al). that didn't just start from nowhere, it started from sick people who drove other people to be sick just like them and nobody stood up to it.
@Aldo2 @bajax @Soy_Magnus aldo can't tell when someone is being sarcastic unless the /s is in the message
@bajax @Aldo2 welcome to arguing with aldo
@SpaceCheeseWizard the funny thing is that uncivilized society would probably just kill this dude
@bajax @Aldo2 i generally think that loli can help people cope with attractions BUT there is a big problem with people basically driving each other deeper in the loli community in certain spaces it seems, so you still have to go about it in a healthy way otherwise it won't go well. that's why it's important for lolicons to have a good antibody response when they see that type of shit and i don't see that enough.
another use case for loli as a coping mechanism i've seen is for people who have been abused. i don't really know the psychology behind it or anything but yeah.
@KaiserKitty i honestly think AI art is just another round of trends like anything else on the internet. you still have real art trends all the time too.
