@LukeAlmighty yeah, and that's the thing. It's way different. It's extremely hostile towards kids, now more than ever. I don't think just sitting around and saying "let the parents deal with it" is a good solution when they aren't doing anything.

@sendpaws @xianc78 you would also be surprised by how many people don't even know wtf a booru is. The amount of times I've seen people that just go to the equivalent of hentai.com, sites riddled with ads and shit, to see porn is kind of ridiculous.

@LukeAlmighty I would generally support a child-only social media that was heavily censored and heavily moderated, for instance. The problem with that is you have to make sure the adults running the place have the kids' best interests in mind, but it's infinitely better than just letting them have free access to the internet.

@sj_zero @LukeAlmighty I really think parents need to do this for their kids, but right now they really don't. So, it's either we should start holding parents accountable for things their kids do online, or we make it harder for kids to do things they shouldn't be doing online. If we do neither then shit will just continue getting worse. I'd rather have the first option, because accountability is pretty much the only thing people respond to.

@pettanko i genuinely would tell people that they should move to something else if they're trying to have NSFW servers or whatever, discord isn't really the place for that. the amount of people i see crying over their fifth discord account getting nuked because they posted loli is astonishing.
