Suyu has been dead for a year now. Citron has/had some sus shit going on with it, something about key verification, I wouldn't use it. Ryubing is on Gitlab and was hit with a DMCA on Github a while ago too, seems to be okay for now.

Seems like the only ones worth using anyway are Eden and Ryubing.

@pettanko when nintendo went after yuzu/citra and ryujinx they did so very pointedly. they really wanted those emulators gone. there are so many forks now that would probably be impossible though. surely they understand that even just hitting github would not actually get rid of these emulators.

if it is nintendo doing this, it might be because microsoft owns github and nintendo is doing direct work with microsoft. kind of like how dolphin wasn't allowed on steam, or the n64 portal project was halted. they don't want their collaborators to be hosting their competition.

thankfully it appears that this only affects github repositories, any emulator not on github is just fine, including ones that just have mirrors. maybe a troll? it's happened in the past with romhacks.

Actually, this review is going to be quite simple. It was pretty good. I liked the added abilities, while still using some of the core gameplay. There weren't really any puzzles but I didn't mind that so much. It wasn't very long, so while the gameplay was kind of one-note it felt more like a segment in a much larger game that uses a specific mechanic. It was cool seeing a bit more of Rose's story as well as a bit of some other characters from RE7 and RE8. Playing in third person was just fine and the spook factor was still very balanced in the same way it was in the base game.

Nothing revolutionary, but I did enjoy it. Was a little bit disappointed that we aren't seeing MORE of her story to be honest. I hope she's in RE9 in some fashion or another because it feels weird to build up and then stop on a pretty crazy cliffhanger only for her story to go dark as we switch to Grace and Leon in RE9.
