@hj @matana interesting, i never used twitter until like 2018 or so. pleroma-fe does seem a bit better than it did the last time i used it though.

is there an easy way to view a post on its original instance? on mastodon you can click the timestamp and it'll take you there, whereas clicking in the empty area on the post will expand it to show the replies and such.

@hj @matana oh yeah i know, i'm talking 'bout the pleroma frontend, i'm not a huge fan of it personally. i like the twitter-esque style of mastodon and soapbox. still better than bloat though lol

@matana maybe it was the other way around, it's supposed to not show them but if you lurk on the local timeline it will show them anyway. can't remember what the default was supposed to be. i know soapbox displays all of them though.

@matana @hj it's detoxed but unmaintained so it has some bugs like not showing replies/boosts in the local timeline and not supporting new mastodon features like post editing

soapbox is probably my favorite so far, pleroma isn't very streamlined imo
