Finally finished removing the grid lines around my friend's world map for his Christmas present!

1) original image
2) original image with the lines removed
3) filter applied to remove some of the gross areas that were much harder to get rid of
4) color reintroduced, final image

I think it looks pretty decent given what I had to work with and it kind of gives it a more "drawn map that has worn over time" vibe than the original which was more clearly just made with software.

there was a place at the mall that sold retro video game stuff that i also bought some holographic anime posters from for presents.

these motherfuckers were selling a ps4 for $500. the nintendo wii was $180. i feel really bad for the people that want some nostalgia trip when they see this place and actually buy one of those things. who in their right mind is selling a ps4 for that much when you could spend just a little extra and get a ps5? when gamestop probably only sells them for like $200?

and the wii, fuck me, my friend and i were able to buy 10 wiis for like $150 altogether online.

granted, these were all complete in box (used), but still, that's not worthy of such a massive price increase.

and who the fuck is going to pay $20 for big motha truckers on ps2?

@alyx idk if this is related at all, but i've noticed that certain mullvad servers have been slow as shit as well.

this is some shit i would have done if it was a possibility at my school lol. all of our laptops were locked down chrome books and definitely nobody could take them home.

i did pirate games to play during my web development class though. i'd download them at home, stick them on a usb drive, and pass it around to all of my friends to install on our macs. the teacher didn't give a single shit that we were playing amnesia or turok 2 in the middle of class as long as we had finished our assignment. the whole reason we took web dev in the first place was because we already knew how to do it and it was an easy grade.

in middle school, i actually had downloaded a bunch of flash games and uploaded them onto my own website for people to play. since freewebs wasn't a banned website, anyone could go on there and play a whole bunch of flash games. it didn't catch on, but that's probably for the best! it was pretty much just me and my close friends that would use it to play bowman and tanks during class xD
