#Australia has new Ambassador for #Gender #Equality. Those are some fucking crazy eyes! I didn’t know possessed people could hold political office.

@freddie_the_fed @rlier23 @sjw nintendo is only good because they make phenomenal games. literally everything else is pretty poor, they're carried by their games alone. making sure gay people can get benefits in their company or whatever pales in comparison to how they treat their own consumers.

Metroid Prime Remastered has the colorblind problem...

It doesn't exactly simulate colorblindness like many other games do, but it does swap the color palette around entirely. Red and yellow switch places, blue gets darker, and green changes to purple. I can't imagine playing the game like that. Pretty egregious.

if you get the japanese version of Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, someone has made an English patch using an English language pack that was just chilling in the game files.

@berkberkman i actually mean that btw this ganon voice was fucking great. the way he does these guttural sounds is great. matt has a little bit of that too.

In Twilight Princess, you need to collect the Tears of Light in order to revive The Spirits of Light, who watch over Hyrule's provinces (that being Lanayru, Faron, and Eldin). All of those provinces exist in Breath of the Wild still. I suspect that this will be part of the plot of Tears of the Kingdom as well, and that similar to Twilight Princess, they will help Link defeat Ganondorf.

This also gives Nintendo a good excuse to cut down the size of the main overworld from Breath of the Wild, only including those regions, while expanding plenty else up into the air. They could easily cut out 50% of the map by doing this, so that we don't have to travel the same places over and over. I'm assuming that, even if the terrain isn't different on the surface world, there will also be plenty of new challenges and interesting situations to deal with, combined with the new mechanics making them more varied as well.

here's better shots from the HD version

also, look at the dragons at the bottom of her dress as well.

wait a second hold up!!

the dragon-like creatures on the top of midna's headdress look pretty similar to the ones in the logo and seen elsewhere throughout the trailers as well as the zonai ruins.

and the back of her dress... has a very similar eye on the back of it that this new character (i'm assuming) does.

the Zonai must have some pretty big ties with the Twili. in fact, they may even be where the Twili originated from, those sorcerers the goddesses locked away in the twilight realm.

yeah this game is gonna' be nuts. we saw nintendo go pretty ham with the metroid lore in metroid dread, and i can only assume tears of the kingdom will be like that but for zelda.

MATTHEW MERCER is voicing Ganondorf lol. It works pretty well but now I won't ever be able to unhear that xD

also i'm pretty certain this isn't zelda. has the same eye that's prevalent in the rest of the imagery of the game that many people are thinking is in relation to the Zonai. perhaps the Zonai are an ancient civilization that Hylia was born from and this is Hylia in one way or another?

new enemies from the tears of the kingdom trailer!

first one looks super menacing, big three headed fire dragon?

second one kind of looks like a re-dead but a bit more fucked up

@famardy sucks you have to pay an additional $30 a year to play n64 and gba games, though. glad i have a hacked switch xD can just emulate stuff if i really want to.

i don't think the entire map will be available to explore. more than likely, they will just section off a piece of it and then open up another piece up in the sky, maybe another piece underground.

@Jazzy_Butts the same people who want that are brain dead enough to think that minors don't have sex with each other

nintendo direct

@xianc78 we knew way more about botw at this point than we do totk right now, but every trailer has been pretty dense with interesting and intriguing stuff. I mean we saw a bunch of new enemies and mechanics and even a bit more of the plot, but not enough to just straight up spoil everything.

Aounuma did say that the title of the game would give away part of the story, and when it announced it didn't make sense. Now though I've realized there is a good chance it refers to the tears of light in twilight princess, or the sacred tears in skyward sword. Perhaps they will serve a really important purpose, maybe giving link extra powers, and/or a means of reviving the goddesses.
