@matana i know and it's retarded, but i know there are a lot of people who have made the decision to leave a religion and then just subscribed to a different "religion" and done the same thing, playing along with it. i see it all the time. so here i am trying to appeal to that initial decision: why did they leave their religion? if it is because they didn't agree with it, then why stick with a community that follows ideals they also do not agree with?

One of my biggest reasons for hating the LGBTQ community at large is because of their flippant attitude toward childhood sexuality and how much they desire to pervert that for their own gain. Fuck, one of my reasons for hating the Mormon church is because there is plenty of shit going on with child abuse there as well. I don't stand for it. Me having "cartoon cp" (which is just a dog whistle) on my profile has nothing to do with the actual children who are being harmed by these "accepting communities" and organizations and the fact that you're going to bat for them even while knowing that yet calling fake shit bad is a little disturbing.

For an example of personal experience, I left the Mormon religion and my life was no doubt made much harder by that decision. I could not, in good conscience, remain there.

This is not to say that every community is a negative community. When it becomes a negative force, that's when you shouldn't put up with it anymore.

Shying away from the realities of abuse (toward adults and children) from the LGBT community just to ensure that you get your fulfillment at the end of the day is no way to live and is morally bankrupt.

@Hyolobrika@berserker.town @xianc78 there is a difference between someone just being gay, trans, a doctor, whatever, and actually being a part of the LGBT or medical community (which also has some dastardly stuff going on all the time).

a trans person could still 100% say "fuck the lgbt community, it's full of child molesters, hypocrites, and abusers" and still be trans if they wanted to. fuck, nobody even really has to chuck their pronouns in their bio or plaster a trans flag everywhere. that's becoming an immediate *red* flag to people.
