@RyokoPilled @merchantHelios ugh that's another shitty thing, there was a tournament here LAST YEAR I actually wanted to attend because it seemed genuinely fun but you needed both the vaccine and the booster and you had to wear a mask the whole time. None of that shit has been required here for a while, the hotel it was at didn't even require it, but the TO decided to require it anyway for some gay ass reason. So I didn't go, and neither did any of my friends who were also wanting to go.

reminder that there is a day one update available for tears of the kingdom now, so if you're playing it make sure you grab that. nobody knows what it does exactly because there are obviously no patch notes from nintendo but it is official and there have been reports that it helps the frame rate. i saw someone speculating that the unpatched version was still logging a lot of stuff for debug purposes so there's a chance that it could affect performance.

i kinda wanna do a top 100 movies, but there's no way i have 100 movies i'd put on there. maybe 50 is a better idea? even then i might be running on fumes at number 50 lol.

@merchantHelios i could smell bad shit in the smash community after the george floyd shit happened and my disdain with it had been festering up until that point. so i said sayonara and then of course all this grooming shit came out only a few months later. fuck the smash community, most of them are either literal children, child predators, or weak-minded nerds that will do anything to feel superior.

Building stuff from source is such a ball ache. They'll tell you what commands you need to build but only like half of the reqs, if that.

@berkberkman it looks like it would be pretty easy to remove, just set the variable of the language detection to something beyond how many languages the switch actually has. that way the code will never activate to change the joycon colors.

of course you'd have to build it yourself afterward instead of just downloading the release.
