@Suzu is owning a bulletproof car just a thing regular people can do?? i've never heard of anyone having a bulletproof car as just a regular joe shmo! i thought car windows were designed to be smashable for like, safety reasons.

OK, so check this out:

Earlier today (more precisely this morning), there were a dad and son at a bakery talking to each other, and they were said to be "joking about lawyers".

Then, a fucking law student that was in the bakery took offense of this and went to confront them. The argued for a bit, then the law student fucking pulls a gun and shoots the son 4 times.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

In the altercation, a tempered glass door exploded (the accounts are a bit odd, some say a bullet hit the door, some say the guy who was shot fell back through the door), and a glass shard hit the law student (again, accounts vary: he was hit either in the stomach or in the neck), and the bleeding dude fleed the scene in his car, which was a bullet-proof version of a Ford Fusion.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

Again, the accounts of this vary, there are some news places that say the guy just lost a lot of blood, but there are reports saying that the guy was so dumb that he managed to shoot himself in the leg while driving, and he lost control of the vehicle and hit a pickup truck that was coming in the opposite direction. The truck driver went unscathed, and he saw that the driver of the Fusion was looking to be in a pretty bad shape, so he decided to come out and help him.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

As I mentioned, the Ford Fusion was an armoured car, and with the hit the driver's car got stuck in a way that was not openable, and the door was not easy to just bend, so the truck driver was basically trying to bust it open with a crowbar to save the dying law student.
Then, a lady who was driving by thought the truck driver was trying to rob the guy in the Fusion, and decided to help.
By running over the truck driver with her car.

End results:
The law student is dead
The son who got shot 4 times is in the hospital, but reports say his condition is fine
The truck driver got a sprained ankle after he was run over

you know, even with the 2.0 update and phantom liberty coming out soon, i don't know if i'll actually go back to cyberpunk 2077 quite yet. idk, i feel like from everything i've seen it doesn't have a big enough impact for me to want to hop in again. i'm mostly a play-it-once kind of guy and i know i'm just going to be playing the same story over again with the same mostly unsatisfying ending.

i was hoping that phantom liberty was going to offer up another way to remove the relic, which could potentially give you a different ending, but it doesn't seem to be the case. it's basically just its own self contained thing. which is fine, it's just not really enough for me to want to go back to the game.

@berkberkman @mushroom_soup @Hyperhidrosis @teratology I mean, official touhou games still don't have official English translations I'm pretty sure.

@applejack I mean most people here have ancestry from somewhere else, I'm mainly Scandinavian, but it is a little silly lol because it's definitely going to be some weird nonbinary people who claim they can cast spells and that's like their entire personality

i don't understand the people who want to defund cops and also ban guns

how are you gonna enforce the ban on guns lmao

And just like speak Swedish the entire time or something lol

There's a "pagan pride" festival coming here soon and I think it would be really funny to show up with a massive drinking horn and clothing exclusively made from fur pelts then act extremely confused when all the people there are just weird trannies.
