@LodedDiaper @LukeAlmighty it's different because chess requires just logic, whereas tetris requires logic + execution which are both extremely difficult at this level. Not trying to bag on chess because it's a different game, but you have time to think about the higher amount of possible moves. Tetris gets to be so fast that players had to develop a different controller technique to get to this point, and you still have to have complete and total focus for an extended period of time.

I'm sure many of you have already heard this, but some kid managed to get so far in NES Tetris that the game crashed. Theoretically, you can go farther than that but you have to play extremely and exponentially carefully. This is only possible because of a technique called "rolling" where players tap the back of the controller to get extremely fast inputs.

Never underestimate the human spirit, I guess. Pretty nuts.

@steeznson the psp was incredible. It was my gaming device, my mp3 player, what I watched movies on, my web browser, my radio... All throughout middle and high school. Before I had a smart phone. Super easy to hack too.

I recently got a PS vita. It's been pretty nice as a portable system. The switch is just a bit too big.
