i wanna see a "the metal by tenacious d if it was actually metal" cover

Think I've got a good way to track bugs for when I get external testing going for my game. For internal testing, I'll be more or less just fixing things as I go. For external testing, I needed something a bit more robust obviously but not too crazy. Think I'm going to use HacknPlan. I'm still sort of toying with the idea of just using Google Forms though and storing all of the responses in a spreadsheet, although that might be a little *too* simple.

D&D campaign is about to get REALLY spicy in a little bit here. There's a good chance that an important side character dies soon. The players don't have any idea about it, it'll more or less be up to how much they want him to stick around.

In the previous campaigns I ran, the first group actually was able to intervene in this because one of the characters stayed out past night. The second and third group didn't really get far enough to have this event happen. So it'll be interesting to see what happens here!

@histoire @LukeAlmighty pretty much all it does for me is increase my tolerance for anesthesia xD

@histoire @LukeAlmighty as a mostly white man I can confidently say I'm not attracted to this person no matter what she does or doesn't do to her face

@toffy the hardest part is keeping the budget low and not becoming too bloated these days. Not in the game itself, but the management and dev team. There is way too much bloat compared to the days of like 8 dudes on a farm in the 90s.

@picandor NoA has been like this since their inception. Every game we get here is censored/inferior and always has been. The only example I can think of that's actually better here that localizers put good work into is maybe Animal Crossing on the GameCube, but even that just got a better Japanese version right after.

mfw i forgot to record like half of a character's lines for my game.

well, at least the guy who recorded them is still around xD he's coming over to finish it in two weeks and hang out a bit.

while the game industry, particularly the AAA one, is burning itself alive, you should be learning how to make games yourself. be the change you wish to see in the world, right? it's easier now than it ever has been so take even like 30 minutes a day and start messing around with some engines. we gotta' get good games being made, without any weird shit injected into them.
