there's something to be said about over-indulging in extreme convenience i think. you gotta have some self control if you want to buy nicer things. some people are spending $50+ a week in delivery fees alone. i had a roommate who would get uber eats twice a day. really not good for the wallet. people acting like budgeting isn't a thing people have done forever, which very frequently involves cutting fast food and curbing addictions. like, how many of these people complaining about mkw's price dropped $100 on their gacha game of choice last month? yknow what i'm saying?

mario kart world seems to run at 30 fps if you're playing with 4 players again.
that's a bummer, would much rather take a hit to get to 60.
but apparently there is a 120 fps mode that they also just haven't shown off yet? kinda weird.

general goals for the rest of this year:
1) learn enough about rpg in a box to get a working tech demo for my next game, or at least a good start
2) learn enough japanese to have small conversations with my friend who knows it
3?) add some new stuff to god's disdain
