Ayyy the replacement drive works! Guess I really did just get a bad drive. Now I can watch Sponge Out of Water without resorting to piracy! Wouldn't want to be like Patchy, would I?
Well, I had to pirate the software to play Blu-Rays in the first place because for some reason the drive doesn't come with it, and Blu-Ray is a horribly over-protected medium that I'm not going to pay $100 to play discs I already own on a $60 drive on a $1500 computer. I've heard it is one of those scummy softwares that also tries to get you to pay for updates so you can play newer discs which is just stupid.
Is it not enough that I bought the physical disc to begin with instead of ripping it from the internet? This proves that piracy is mostly a service problem, just like our good man Gaben said.
Been working on this house in Sims 4 a little bit. It's not done but I'm liking it a lot! I usually build these massive mansions with tons of rooms and stuff but I'm going much smaller with this one (but still spacious) and it's been nice.

i think i thought of the best way to avoid nintendo's takedowns. hear me out.
make an insanely good fan game, but market it as a porn game. then just have a toggle to remove the spicy elements.
they've haven't touched anything porn related for a very long time, presumably because, like other companies, they don't want to acknowledge its existence.

Cleaned up all of the current things possible to clean up on the To Do List already, meaning one of two tasks for February is already complete!
This included finishing up the credits scene and adding a mechanic for learning about your current karmic standing. An interesting event will occur if you have the right item!

So I learned that the Palword devs, Pocketpair Inc, are JP. Man look at that, they got tricked into adding Body Type A/B into the game 
Now, it's funny, because the gun additions are also justified with "Americans are doing this thing." But unlike Body Type A/B, it was a lucky choice, because it made the game absurd and hilarious for the better. Their market presence is amplified due to it. A thing done right, for the wrong reason.
