We can argue about how that should happen but if you're anti-violence you agree that it needs to happen

Whether or not you want feds to arrest rioters really comes down to whether or not you're fine with the rioting.

@LukeAlmighty @xianc78 @realcaseyrollins I once read an article about Asperger's describing it as "an extreme form of the masculine personality". I got a chuckle out of it. Sounds like being autistic would have its pros, especially given how pattern recognition seems to be dialled to 11 on those people.

A "mutuals" tab on users you're following, so you can see how many mutuals you have with them.

Which is faster?

ssh gleasonator pg_dump pleroma > pleroma.sql

vs

ssh gleasonator "pg_dump pleroma > pleroma.sql"
rsync -av gleasonator:pleroma.sql .

@realcaseyrollins @alex I think it's smart waiting for them to leave before arresting them. As we've seen, comforting the mob directly leads to more violence and therefore the risk of casualties on both sides.

@ThreeOneThreeChris @realcaseyrollins @alex @judgedread No police force in the West can.

Deterrence is a big part of maintaining the social order.

The way they’re doing though: no TV crews, no newspaper or MSM announcements seem fishy to me.
@realcaseyrollins @judgedread @alex When they make an example in Portland, another city in another region of the country becomes the new flashpoint, enflamed by the response to the previous one. The situation is a giant grease fire at this point.

@Korsier @alex yes.

But these are tricky! According to Donut Operator, theyre getting arrested because they were being violent in a crowd and the officers waited until the crowd dispersed to arrest them.

Tough part is, even tho the officer may see someone doing to crime, it can be hard to get enough info to lead to an indictment.
