@judgedread I love how the CSS for his avatar and name, is also broken in the screenshot.
The absolute state of Gab.
@LukeAlmighty Stick with restaurants that let you order by phone.
@beardalaxy @matana I sometimes watch GMT and Snowman Gaming. I like GMT's Boss Keys series where he analyzes the dungeon design in the Zelda games.
When it comes to GDC (and pretty much most of these game design videos really) it's hard to sift through all the SJW propaganda. It's the exact same reason I stopped watching Extra Credits.

Just fucking say "grandmother" for fucks sake.
@beardalaxy @matana Also, I think you have it much easier than I do because you are using a full-fledged engine while I'm using basic frameworks. I think it probably would be much easier if I use something like Unity, Unreal, or Godot but I kind of like programming some things from scratch.
@beardalaxy @matana Right now, I'm just working on a generic verticle shmup. I switched from Python (using the Pygame library) to C# (using the MonoGame framework) during late high school (2017) but hadn't work that much on gamedev since then due to college and having a part-time job.
I actually attempted to work on my dream game back in high school when I was still using Python, but I was unprepared for that and Python is way to slow to create a full-fledge game like the one I was creating. I realized that I was better off learning a new language from scratch and learn more programming concepts.
You mentioned playing video games when getting home from work. I have that habit, but I feel like that I haven't played enough games to fully understand the inner workings of the medium.
I'm trying my best to stay focused now. I realized that I wasted my time obsessing over all the idpol among other things for the past few years when all that energy could've been spent on more productive things.
@Zest @Chizu @miria @ChristiJunior @cum @lelouchebag I'm openly Eurasian and I have him following me.
@matana @beardalaxy My problem more has to do with time. I made completed games before, but they're shitty clones of Atari games written in Python. I use C# now, but I'm also now a full time college student with a part-time job and my time is pretty limited. Even back in high school, I was limited due to extra-circular activities.
Right now, I'm trying to get something done this summer.
@coolboymew Just looking at a single line of in-game dialog, it looks like you can modify any memory address with it.
Food (cuy)
@agoradefense You're going to get rabbit starvation if you rely on rodents though.
@coolboymew Maybe we can finally fully understand that scripting language used for the game's dialog.
