@Moon Yarn.social (a web based front-end) uses separate feeds for each user after a certain threshold is reached. It's kind of like RSS. It's up to the webmaster or server to decide the limit of posts per feed.
Honestly, the only cumbersome thing about it is that you need to follow users or a registry in order to read replies from others.
@Moon Have you tried it? I'm considering adding a feed for my site.
@Moon ActivityPub is a bloated piece of shit. twtxt is where it's at. It's RSS but for microposts.
@realcaseyrollins There is also a web front-end for twtxt called Yarn if you want a more traditional experience. It still uses twtxt in the background. With how simple the twtxt format is, it's much easier to implement than activity pub.
@CryptoBlok @Binkle They will actually break in to the capitol only to realize that the shadow government that's really in charge isn't located in that building.
@realcaseyrollins If you can't host a Fedi instance you should try twtxt. It's an ultra-minimalist decentralized microblogging network. It's just a text file containing your profile and statuses. That's it. You can even host it on a static website. People follow you via twtxt clients, just like an RSS feed.
@Indigo @dielan On a semi-related note, and it may sound weird, but I don't like people knowing my last name even IRL. I don't feel like it's important and I went to keep family stuff private, but if someone knows me because of someone that I'm related to, then I'm going to be known by a first and last name basis and be called by both my first and last name.
I hate last names. They're actually a recent invention. We went well fine without them. Hell, people in Iceland do use them that much.

>Being gay reduces your lifespan more than smoking does.
Do you have anything to back that up. It puts you at risks for a lot of things like STDs sure and gays are more likely to use drugs, but I think you can still live a normal lifespan if you are gay, provided that you stay away from those things.
@ConfederateHobo @ItsSkyDragonz I'm on GameLiberty which is running on Mastodon.
@matana It's just like the women in Zelda II.
