@beardalaxy @Mr_NutterButter I like Action RPGs, but Diablo never interested me for whatever reason. I can just tell from screenshots and footage that it's too clunky for my tastes. It looks like some generic, isometric dungeon crawler and you use the mouse for almost everything. No thanks.
I like more simple ARPGs like Ys or many of the WRPGs after they went 3D.
@niuulianov Use Devuan instead. It's Debian without SystemD.
@beardalaxy @Mr_NutterButter I've actually never played Diablo. I just love watching the Blizzard shitshow that has been going on for years for whatever reason.
@bot @Pawlicker @gray @Sexypink Gamedev stuff is more fun than boring Unix/Perl/Plan9/Elixir/Haskell/Programming sock tranny stuff.

@bot @Pawlicker @gray I only post gamedev progress on it. I got some people to interact with me, though one guy told me to make crypto gambling games, which I politely declined to do.
@bot @Pawlicker @gray Nobody likes my gamedev stuff on there still.
@brimshae @rlier23 @EverySingleTIme@poa.st @graf @GrungeQueef @lunarfox @ehhh @EverySingleTime@varishangout.net @soravu A few months back Alex Linder (admin of Pieville) "declared war" on anime and anime fans. Poast and DRC users dogpiled on him with anime porn. Then, a fed-post appeared on DRC by some burner account. It was obvious that it was him. It's part of the reason why so many instances still have registrations closed.
@William_The_Dragonborn It's some Youtube channel known as "Council of Geeks".
@icedquinn The post-capitalist world will revert to capitalist when people realize that it requires a lot of energy to convert into matter.

I'm going to try doing a little experiment with the tileset for my game, or in other words, the environmental graphics. Right now I'm just using the stock RPG Maker graphics for them, and that means if people see the game they'll immediately know it's RPG Maker. I wanted to get something more unique going, but I was laser focused on the idea of it being completely original and I knew I didn't have money for that kind of thing, so I skipped over the tilesets.
I wouldn't be able to drop in another paid tileset, because unfortunately it wouldn't be formatted the same way and I'd definitely be missing pieces that I need for all the current maps in the game.
However, watching some RPG Maker videos today, I actually got a great idea. I'm going to do a little bit of snooping around to see if I can find a tileset that can be used in conjunction with the stock ones. I could recreate the stock tilesets to the best of my ability with those ones that I purchase, and then any gaps could be filled with the stock assets since they'll mesh together well enough.
We'll see what turns up! I will definitely have pictures ready to show you all if I think it looks good :)
