@Rocket Most of the stuff is implied. The story involves a nation-wide blackout (remember how those like the WEF keep hyping up a cyber-attack). It is also implied that a nuclear war happened.

This just reeks of predictive programming. Hopefully, we can expose it to the masses and the elites will think twice before pulling it off.

@PurpCat @coolboymew It's not in their browser. It's it the firewalls in Apple Stores. They redirected Maddox's site to a 404 page, saying that he didn't exist, and it was probably because he bashed Apple products on his site.

@beardalaxy @af2 XMPP stores logs up to a certain amount of time, but people rarely use it for group chats (at least from my experience). You just need to set up a server (an actual server and not what Discord calls a "server") and you can host as many accounts and chat rooms as you want. It's also like the fedi, so servers can communicate with each other. There are also plug-ins to add voice, E2EE, etc.

Only problem is that most clients resemble AIM, Windows Messenger, etc. Of course, you are going to get the "it's outdated response" even though it's just as functional. Though, it is theoretically possible to create an XMPP client that resembles Discord.

@beardalaxy @af2 I really hate the lame ass excuses they make when you suggest an alternative. "It's just more convient to use the program that I always use", "but Discord has emotes, images, and voice", "isn't <insert alternative here> what terrorists/pedophiles/drug-dealers use".
