_Climate Ideology Ignores Science, Threatens Humanity_

FTA: Climate scientists would be less likely to issue dire warnings of planetary doom if they gave more credence to the geological history of the past several million years. Instead, they rely on computer models that are biased by the preconceptions of their manipulators and incapable of accounting for the myriad factors influencing global temperatures.

Minuscule recent warming, whatever the cause, is inconsequential in light of the long record of data found in Antarctica ice cores that go back 800,000 years. The bottom line is that Earth is colder by nearly 3 degrees Celsius than it was 3,000 years ago and is just now climbing out of its longest cold spell of the last 10,000 years. Blaring headlines about record heat waves of the past 100 years are meaningless, hysterical blather.

A deeper dive into geologic history — based partly on the record stored over millions of years in deep-ocean sediments — shows that today’s carbon dioxide concentrations of 420 parts per million are a fraction of past levels that reached 5,000 ppm and more. Carbon dioxide is nearly at its lowest level ever since plant life began so many millions of years ago and well below the optimum amount for the health of most vegetation.

In fact, the 280-ppm concentration of the mid-19th century is uncomfortably close to the point at which plant life dies — below 150 ppm. Given that all life depends on adequate amounts of this gas, proposals to reduce atmospheric carbon dioxide are nothing less than reckless.

@PurpCat @Tadano @elftummy @King_Noticer I've heard that many of the people have been exposed using hacked Pokemon yet the people hosting those tournaments do nothing about it.

@BigDawg869789 @Pawlicker Are you talking about illegal radio stations? People used to build floating radio stations out on the ocean before the Internet, but you might as well use regular AM or FM for that.

@Pawlicker HAM radio requires a license. You should consider starting off with CB Radio.

I have a neighbor who used to be into HAM radio. He has a huge antennae in his yard.

@binkle Because in fiction it's either an evil government who takes all the food or an evil corporation who takes all the wealth.

I wish people would realize that things like world peace and ending poverty worldwide are unreachable goals. Having the weight of the world on our shoulders brings us all down. Let's work on solving our own problems instead.

@beardalaxy That sprite looks more suited for roguelikes anyway. The animation is also way too fluid, I could skip some frames in that animation, but the license is a huge deal-breaker. Codeberg requires me to put everything on an open-license.

The enemy doesn't have to be a skeleton. There is no mention of it being a skeleton in the source code and it doesn't throw bones or anything like that. I just used what made sense using BS Zelda's spritesheet as a placeholder. I also used BS Zelda sprites as placeholders because the size of the characters and tiles are the exact same.

gamedev

Replaced the BS Zelda skeleton sprite with one from Open Game Art, but it looks to small. I tried to look everywhere for 16x16 skeleton sprites and I can't draw my own, but this was the only one I could find.

@Kazak National Anthem at sports are a type of propaganda "from politicians" to create a false sense of unity.

Third world countries have this "we hate each other but we all unite when our team plays soccer"

Countries like Argentina or some African countries abuse about this system to maintain a disjoint country. Bread and circuses, Brot und Spiele.

@jeffcliff @amerika @kcarruthers Okay, Jeff - I'll bite - if climate change is a manmade local phenomena, why are the ice caps on Mars getting smaller? https://www.space.com/33001-mars-ice-age-ending-now.html
