@NEETzsche @ChristiJunior @RehnSturm256@neckbeard.xyz @skylar Islamaphobia and transphobia are the only acceptable forms of "bigotry" by conservatives these days.
@verita84 @ChristiJunior @RehnSturm256@neckbeard.xyz @skylar Maybe except for those /leftypol/ types.
@ArdanianRight Congratulations. You're now on the FBI watch-list. Your IP is now being traced and we are coming to take your guns.
@ChristiJunior @RehnSturm256@neckbeard.xyz @skylar I was thinking more about the "centrists" and the SJW-lite (those who are usually otherwise apolitical, but will bend the knee for something like BLM when anyone else is doing it).
@ChristiJunior @RehnSturm256@neckbeard.xyz @skylar Well right now, it's the only way to reason with some people. That or show actual footage of tranny surgery.
@judgedread @QueenoftheDeepRealm Hopefully, this is a chance for open source architectures like RISC-V to finally shine.
Some thoughts on Privacy
@okabe_rintarou LibreWolf is basically just a de-spywared Firefox. It apparently has automatic user-agent spoofing which is nice, but you're still dependent on Mozilla's Gecko browser engine and I don't know if the LibreWolf team would be able to fork it if Mozilla adds spyware and/or other anti-features in the engine itself.
LBRY tries to not take substantive stances, but we'll be honest on this subject: everyone that works on LBRY thinks Earth is a spheroid that revolves around the Sun.
Everyone at LBRY is also proud to enable voices that disagree.
Science is the opposite of blind trust.

Parler. Free speech platform that immediately opened lines of communication with the feds.
Is free speech now a code word for "honeypot"? Help a boomer out here.
@djsumdog @pj@bitcoinhackers.org @epic The great filter hypothesis assumes that every habitable world evolves the exact same as we do and follows the exact same or at least similar path as ours. It immediately falls flat when you take in account all the possible biologies and biochemistries such alien life would have.
For example, it's theoretically possible that alien life could breathe methane instead of oxygen (http://arcana.wikidot.com/methane-breathing-life). Given that methane is an organic compound, it's possible that such life wouldn't need to eat food to survive. So, certain societal problems we have here (like scarcity of food) would be non-existent on that world. I bet there would be fewer justifications for war and the increase of power.
@djsumdog @pj@bitcoinhackers.org I actually never read Brave New World. I was thinking more like The Giver which I heard was more like Brave New World for kids. I keep on hearing that we are becoming more like Brave New World than 1984 which makes me more concern.
At least more and more people are waking up to this. They realize that voting is not the answer, but either through grassroots activism like counter-economics or secession. There is hope.
@djsumdog @pj@bitcoinhackers.org I think the long term goal is to eventually get rid of human reproduction entirely and replace it with artificial wombs. The mass sterilization along with this "Great Reset" that the WEF makes me think that the global elites want to restructure the human population to be more like an ant colony. Granted, we are decades off from this being a reality, but I don't doubt that the global elites have this in mind.
