Soo today is voting day in the US. I ended up pissing a ton of my friends telling them I didn't vote because voting is a waste of time now. Politicians just use "mail in" ballots to fortify and get the results they want and no one does anything to change it otherwise.

@xianc78 this hurts me because it is true and observable even at my own company. There's a bunch of internal special interest groups that I get emails from that I can't opt out of. Of all of them, I think the POC one is the most annoying. I will never forget when I was told to stop saying "hispanic" and to instead say "brown".
@nerdman Didn't the Steam re-release get rid of some "politically incorrect" terms? It was probably developed by a different team, but still.

You would think it would be the other way around or they would tell you to say "Latinx".
I honestly don't give a fuck about the demographics of the company as long as they are competent and passionate. The key difference between western game studios of the past and western game studios now is that you can clearly see talent and passions with the former. The latter cares more about identity politics than the games themselves.

A newbie guide to conspiracy theories:
If you're ever in doubt, go through these steps:
1) Is it technically possible?
2) would there be a tremendous benefit to the illuminaty if it was implemented?
3) Would they be able to think of the idea. (automatic yes, since someone much dumber did too)
If all 3 are anwsered yes, you can be SURE, that even if it is not implemented yet, it will be soon. The question is not if, but when.
