@ryo People use apps because they're too lazy to dial a number.
@ryo Phone numbers are being replaced by apps. The solution is to have shortcuts to phone numbers on your home screen.

@ryo It wouldn't be a problem if you could make shortcuts to phone numbers on your phone's home screen just like how you can make desktop shortcuts to websites on your computer.

Imagine your house is set on fire, you try to call a fire fighter, and an automatic voice says "I'm sorry, but due to an increasing number of calls, you have to download the emergency service app from the Crap Store or Play Store", and you have no iOS or Goolag Android.
What are you supposed to do?

So the schizo who ran the PC-98 Discord got thrown out, and now he's threatening to report to Japanese gaming companies the Neo Kobe old Japanese game archives because if he can't be the inactive leader of a Discord server than nobody can.

Not to subpost too hard, but in what universe is making unsolicited DM groups and force inviting people who by their own admission wish only to be left alone ever an OK thing to actually do? This is the third or fourth time something like this has happened to me at least, and I'm very glad fedi as a platform generally has the courtesy not to do this compared to certain proprietary chat programs which shall remain unnamed here /vent

@Nirty_Digger the crazy thing is that literally everywhere i live is hiring for much higher wages than they used to, places are cutting their hours drastically, and you can't even order a damn pizza for delivery at 7pm because there are no drivers. there are pizza places deadass hiring drivers for $20/hr.
Does anyone have any experience buying used computers at Goodwill? I just need a Windows PC just to run Spring Tools Suite because the Linux version is apparently broken and I don't want to give money to Microsoft directly (they get a cut out of every Windows PC sold).
