Anyone who thinks they want to abolish money, don't understand what money is to begin with.
@TheMadPirate AFAIK, Godot is a community open-source project (they do have corporate sponsors, however), so there is nobody to hire. I think the whole project started as an engine that a few developers made for their games until they decided to open-source it and release it to the public.
They also had a problem with master-slave in the past which pissed a lot of people off.

Pleroma wasn't created by a pornsite, it was done another German dude who took advantage of a corporation handing out money, no work was delivered to the company and development continued, just like it started, without their support.
Alex's claims of human trafficking and any other claims, are nothing but petty lies trying to discredit Pleroma devs from rightfully kicking him out.

Much more than 50% of the pleroma instances still uses the same pleroma repo and has been using it since their creation. There doesn't exist a "vanilla" Pleroma because it's still in development, there is no "vanilla".
What Alex did was attempt to take over and brand Pleroma as his own project. 99% of the software Alex claims was created by the aforementioned German guy, whom Alex is actively trying to steal from.

@TheMadPirate The Godot developers list their pronouns in their About Page, last time I've checked. Seriously, the entire gamedev community is pozzed as fuck. From engines, to forums, to marketplaces.
@TheMadPirate There isn't a decent fedi instance for gamedevs, but the entire indie gamedev community is pozzed anyway. I've picked this instance because it's the closest to it.
I would create an instance for gamedevs who aren't into all this woke shit but I don't know how many people would use it.
