@MeBigbrain @Ariovistus You won't find trees where I'm hiding, statist.

You honestly have a better chance at becoming famous in a small community than drowning in the endless sea that is Twitter.
@PurpCat He's been on the Internet for over two decades. He's been around even before YouTube. He should know that self-hosting is the solution, but he would rather shill alt-tech.
@PurpCat They're paid shills for those platforms. That's why.

Finally got a logo on the title screen/menu along with a title for this game. Shout out to @Mr_NutterButter for the logo and for coming up with the name.
It actually looks too good, especially compared to the actual game.
Today - with the Fedi seeing about 4,000 to 4,600 new registered users PER HOUR, and with the #RedditMigration seeing thousands of new users today, after killing off the #Apollo app - it seemed important to write up a report to users of this server... TL/dr - lots of new users today, tons of new activity and 100% uptime. This feels like day 1 of a multi-day wave. We will see.
@newt What about conflicts being solved through domestic violence?
If you want to introduce less technically-inclined friends to the fediverse, don’t overload them with information about how the fediverse works.
Simply tell them to find a community they like, or better yet, if you know what they’re into find an appropriate instance for them, and also tell them not to worry about anything else. The way fediverse works is better shown rather than explained.
For example, I recommended squawk.social to a friend of mine with a birdsona, and he said he’ll consider signing up.
@LodedDiaper @PurpCat Of course the blog just dies before the documentation is released and it was almost a decade ago.
Unfortunately, this thing doesn't have the dedicated cult following like the Pokemon Mini or even the Casio Loopy. I only saw this console on the footnotes of the Wikipedia article on the 7th generation of video game consoles. That's the only reason why I know of it's existence.
Though the system appears to be on par with the PS1. It could be a homebrew developer's dream. I could see ports of PS1 decomps and old PC games on this thing.
@LodedDiaper @PurpCat LeapFrog devices apparently have an active homebrew scene. Apparently, they all run off of Flash (presumably a lightweight version).
It appears like one of the last resorts of accessing #twitter without having an account has stopped working now. #Nitter had been a fairly useful tool, at least for me to quickly find stuff on twitter. Now it has stopped working for almost a day and this github issue indicates that it probably is gonna be the case going forward.
Another reason for people to look at moving off from the birdsite on to #fediverse.
