@ArdainianRight @moffintosh @ChristiJunior @LukeAlmighty @DocScranton There is an elitist culture in the Linux community and people will shame you if you are not using Arch, Gentoo, or Slackware, but not everyone has to be a power user.
Just install Linux Mint and ignore everyone else's bullshit. I've been using Linux for over a decade and I never even bother with the more advanced distros.
Dear businesses do not use Discord as a support method if a product is being sold to a business. We are currently having to figure out a risk exception for allowing Discord and here’s the problem. Discord is poorly architected and we have to allow about 5 domains to make it work and we can’t limit it to just one workspace like Slack allows us.
Discord is not a product for business, use Email, Teams, Slack, and Matrix!

I have to watch it later because I'm currently stuck using a Raspberry Pi with a busted audio jack. Though that video seems to be only on market socialism. What about Distributism or Georgism?
@LodedDiaper @moffintosh @LukeAlmighty I think a lot of intentional communities can be considered Distributist. As for Georgism, I think Singapore has a land-value tax, but they aren't full-on Georgist.
@moffintosh @LukeAlmighty Did you at least look into other economic systems like Distributism, Georgism, Mutualism, or Market Socialism before jumping on the commie-bandwagon?
@ArdainianRight @moffintosh @ChristiJunior @LukeAlmighty @DocScranton Using Tor while using Windows is like using a condom when you already have AIDS. Switch to Linux already!
@lanodan Even better, store a 3D object of a cassette on a cassette. Then broadcast said cassette on the radio.
@PurpCat Most Neocities sites barely have any content. Just some page listing their interests and contact info.
@beardalaxy How about name it after something nocturnal? Maybe "Silicon Cricket" or something like that.
@beardalaxy And it turns out that "Divided by Zero Productions" is in fact already been taken by some guitar YouTuber. Granted, he hasn't uploaded in over two years, but still.

>Add some SAT/ACT adjective to some noun
I don't know what SAT/ACT is supposed to mean here.
>If that doesn't work, there's always the avatar name. I doubt anybody's trademarked "XIANC Productions" yet.
Even I don't know how to pronounce my username. I don't think it's a good idea to use a name that I can't pronounce for my studio. And Xianc Productions sounds like a name for some Chinese Famicom bootleg company.
Personally, I thought about taking inspiration from old Japanese game studios and how they name their companies. There is combining the first few letters of two words like "Sega" being "Service" + "Game". Or just taking a word and adding "com" to the end like "Falcom" being named after the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars and the "com" part because a lot of computer companies did that back then.
@beardalaxy "After Midnight" seems way too generic. It's probably already taken given how many developers work late into the night. The name kind of reminds me of "Insomniac Games".
I've also been coming up with names for a one-man studio, but I feel like whatever I come up with is already taken. I thought of "Divided by 0 Productions" but I feel like that is already taken and I'm too lazy to check.
i've been thinking about maybe changing the name of my "game studio" before the beta of my game is ready. at that point it will be solidified permanently, basically, and i'm not so sure i like the name of Useless Torch.
i think part of it is because Useless Torch was supposed to be a combination of all my friends getting together and working on stuff, but since its inception everyone has gone seperate ways and i can't see them really working for/with me in the future. so i kind of want to move away from that name and have something that refers to just me working alone with freelancers to fill in the gaps.
i've been thinking about using the name "After Midnight" recently. have a sort of logo design in mind for it too. if there is any time i'm going to change my studio name it'll be now, because i don't want people to get confused if i change it after it has been proliferated more.
what do you guys think?
