@souldessin I said no GPS receivers. I want to enjoy my games without the botnet.

Wrist games NEED to make a comeback. There should be a wrist form-factor handheld console solely dedicated to these types of games. They don't need to be full-fledged games. Just have them be simple minigames as companions to full console or PC games, something like the Dreamcast VMU or the Japan-only Sony PocketStation and have it interact with a console or PC via Bluetooth, USB, or micro-SD cards.
Just please don't add any botnet features like GPS or cellular communication.
Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS cartridges use NAND flash for storage , not mask ROMs. Like all Flash memory, they "leak" charge over time and eventually lose data.
The Switch and 3DS card reader tells game cards to "refresh" themselves periodically. https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendo-switch-3ds-cartridge-lifespan.591607/
But, some users are reporting cartridges already dying, especially ones they haven't used for years. I wonder which of mine already don't work.
Just a reminder that you don't own any data you can't back up. Buying physical cartridges and game cards isn't enough if they're using technology that inevitably deteriorates over time.
@nekofag Not for me. I can't function without it.
I should probably research herbal medicine and see if there is a natural alternative though.
@nekofag Enjoying the adderall shortage like I am.
Honestly, I would love to add pre-rendered cutscenes to the game. It would be a great way to experience the alternate universe where the Nintendo 64 actually had a CD drive.
@vic I don't understand it either. Apparently, the decomp has showed how unoptimzed the original game was so the PC port attempts to fix things.
Fyi, I haven't but I'm currently re-thinking how I do things.
Thinking of how I want to integrate rclone encryption

@Mr_NutterButter @LukeAlmighty Which is why it is important for us to be the change we want to see in the world and raise our children as such.
And of course, that doesn't necessarily mean that you should raise them like luddites but maybe not expose them to electronics 24/7, especially useless smarthome shit.
@beardalaxy I just really hate how they named it after a literal reference to one of the CD-i games.
I also wish they would port it to more platforms. The SM64 decomp was ported to literally everything that could run it. So far, the OOT decomp has only been ported to PC, Switch, and Wii U.
@beardalaxy Textures are good enough when it comes to map models. Yeah, the high quality textures + high quality character models + low poly level geometry does look kind of jarring, but it does have some sort of charm to it. It reminds me of the XBLA port of Perfect Dark where it looks nice in some parts but uncanny in other parts (namely during cutscenes were you can clearly see that there is still no facial animation).
Though, only the character and items use the 3DS models. All the enemies seem to still use their N64 models, but I expect that to be fixed in an update (I think both mods are still in beta). Also, the pre-rendered background areas have been revamped to be more like their 3DS counterparts which is a huge plus in my book.
@ArdainianRight Storming the Capitol will never work. The shadow government is located somewhere else.
Why wasn't I aware of this until now? OOT PC Port now supports 3DS models and you can toggle between the two at any time.

Clear and well spoken concerns about big pharma, the WHO and the oligarchy in general working against the bulk of humanity.
