@wowaname I rarely use it. The only sites that were worthwhile were vch (/v/ bunker), julay (had a bunch of boards), zzzchan, and 8chan.moe (was on there until everyone else blocked it for hosting /hebe/). After Julay shut down, most people either went to 8chan.moe, 8kun, or gave up on imageboards entirely.

@wowaname @PurpCat I think they were originally called "fatchan" then "zchan" and finally "zzzchan". They were targeted a lot over the years as with most 8chan bunkers, hence the constant name changes and domain hoppings.

@wowaname @PurpCat There is a decentralized webring that is used by a lot of 8chan bunkers after the original 8chan shutdown. It's fully decentralized and every site added to one's webring would be added to the webrings of the site it's federating.

@PurpCat 4chan isn't just down. There have also been leaks about the site running on outdated software, having trannies and college professors moderating the place, etc. I don't know the full extent of it though.

Well it looks like 8chan.moe is also down, possibly due to 4chan anons seeking refuge. I haven't seen the full details of the 4chan leaks, but it makes me wonder if it's bad enough that 8chan will make a comeback, even though not in it's original form.

Sadly some of the art got damaged though mostly a smudge in the top-right corner. I could get a replacement jewel but I don't want to spend another $32 and wait a week.

I luckily had some really strong double sided adhesive I used for the rubber feet for an OG a few years back that's still really good. I used it for the jewel to adhere it to the plastic instead and it's holding on there nice and tight. I do wish it was mechanically secured but I didn't want to spend another $30 for a jewel but it looks nice.

The issue was totally my fault though because I didn't know there was a plastic retainer in the shell that was blocking the abilty to plug in the jewel but it looks nice and it's sticking to the console
