@All_bonesJones @openrightsgroup I don't think they are going to respond, but remember the the British were required to carry IDs back in World War II and eventually they ripped them up in protest. I can see something similar happening.
@Mr_NutterButter My idea was basically a repository for free to use reference voices that can be use on voice cloning software. Though I didn't think about paying people for submitting their voice.

You can still buy most things anonymously through a proxy service like the one on ThinkPenguin. You basically give them money and they will buy it on your behalf. Granted, it is ultimately a band-aid solution because these stores can (and probably will) black lists these services as customers, but it's something to look into while you still can.
