You can still buy most things anonymously through a proxy service like the one on ThinkPenguin. You basically give them money and they will buy it on your behalf. Granted, it is ultimately a band-aid solution because these stores can (and probably will) black lists these services as customers, but it's something to look into while you still can.

At least they're being truthful about forcing digital IDs for everyone but the illegals. Then they'll just give illegals cash cards and housing for free without the restrictions of digital ID.
